I became a parent at a young age, and like many first-time parents, my partner and I quickly felt overwhelmed by the amount of advice coming at us from every direction. Friends, family, social media, even strangers all had opinions, but what we were really searching for was clear, reliable guidance. We wanted to understand our options and feel confident in the decisions we were making.

I’d just heard of a doula, but I thought the service was only for aesthetic, natural home births. (Wrong!) We decided to have a doula, and wow it changed everything for us. We had consistent education, prep, and hands-on support replacing our fears with understanding. When our baby arrived, we felt grounded, together, and supported in a way we never expected. I was so happy with our birth, I breastfed for 18 months, and got the best resources to overcome postpartum depression. We couldn’t have had this without that care.

Our experience inspired me to become a doula.

Today, I’ve supported many first-time families providing the foundation they need for this transformative experience. I’ve also served many redemptive parents who never had this support before, and they always say, “I wish I had this with my first”. 

I believe confidence comes from knowledge, preparation, and having someone you trust by your side during this transition. My mission is to help families begin & continue parenthood feeling prepared, supported, and confident to step into this new chapter of life.
